Where are you located?
Private appointments are near 75/Central and 635/LBJ

What are your hours?
We take apppointments daily until 8.00 PM.

Do you take walk-ins?

Sometimes we can fit you in on the same day.
It is usually good to call several days in advance to schedule, as we get pretty booked up.

How much do you charge?
Private appointments start at $20.00 for Henna, $30.00 for Jagua and the cost depends on the design.
You can text or email a design for an estimate.
We can usually design something in your budget.

How long does it last?
We can do henna like-designs in different products:
*Henna is brown and lasts a week to 3 weeks depending on where it is on the body, and how
well you take care of it. See here for care instructions: About Henna
*Tattoo paint comes in black, white and other colors and lasts 3-5 days. They can be removed with alcohol.
*Jagua is a blue-black color and can last 7-14 days.

Do you have black henna?
We have a safe alternative called Jagua that gives a blue-black color.
If you have a fruit allergy you will not want to use jagua, but the tattoo paint will work.
"Black henna" is not real henna and it is extremely dangerous!
Please make sure that when you get a henna it is real henna and not chemical henna.
How to tell the diference? Real henna takes several days to darken on the skin. It
turns orange the first day and darkens to brown over three days. If the artist tells you your
tattoo will be brown, red, or black right away don't let them put it on your body! It can cause
life-long health problems and scarring. See here: Black Henna

Do you have white henna?
Real henna is only brown. We can do henna style designs in white, but it will not last like henna does.

Do you have different colors?
We can do henna-style designs in different colors with tattoo paint.

How do I make an appointment?
Call or text 972-661-3092.

Please note that we usually wrap the henna design to the skin, so you will be bandaged when you leave the studio.
You need to leave the bandage on for many hours. We like to leave it on overnight as the longer it stays on the body the better the stain will be. Therefore, it is a good idea to plan on a relaxing after you get your henna and getting your work out done before you come.

If you need the design to look great the same day, we can use the paint and you walk out of the studio good to go.

How do I book a party or event?
Email us at karenweissnet@gmail.com and give us the date, time, number of guests. Feel free to call as well.

Is henna safe?
Yes real henna is organic and it has been used for 5000 years in many cultures. As long as you are not getting
the 'chemical henna' you will be fine. (Black Henna)

Henna should never be put on infants. We only put henna on children age 6 and up.
(You can read here about G6PD deficiency: G6PD)

At Henna Tattoos Dallas we use all non-toxic products, and we use the most gentle of esential oils so that our sensitive clients are well cared for. Expectant mothers and chemotherapy patients can trust that our ingredients are organic and safe.

Do you do custom designs? Can I bring in a design that I want?
Yes. Many people bring in images from the internet, and I can create designs to your specifications.

How do I take care of my tattoo?
For henna see this link: About Henna
Jagua directions are similar to henna. See Here
Temporary tattoos just need a little baby powder a couple of times a day.

Do I come to you or do you come to me?
If you come to me the price depends on the design and the cost starts at $15.00 for henna..
If I come to you, I bill it as a party. You can get some friends together and everyone gets henna!
